Well, hello. I have returned from the dead to tell my story. Who am I, you ask?

(Giggles) Well, Im Norma Jeane Baker, silly. Perhaps you know me better by my
stage name: Marilyn Monroe. I was one of the most popular American film actresses
of the twentieth century, considered as a pop icon and a sex symbol.
I was born in Los Angeles in 1926. I grew up without a father and with a mother
who wasnt ready to take care of me. Because of this, I lived in a foster home with a
pair of kind Christians for a while. On the weekends, my real mommy would visit
me and take me to the cinema. Oh, how I loved gazing at the larger-than-life stars on
the giant screen! They were so glamorous. When I was seven or eight, my mommy
suffered a series of mental breakdowns caused by schizophrenia and was committed
to the psychiatric hospital.
From there I moved into a few different foster homes. I wasnt treated well and was
even abused by some of my foster fathers (pensive) mi Vida fue dificil. Eventually I
was placed in an orphanage it seemed no one wanted me. When I was 16, I
convinced a former neighbor, a decent but boring boy of 21 years old, to marry me,
so I could escape the orphanage. It worked!
In the 1940s, during World War II, my boring husband enlisted in the military
(smiles big) y fue all donde conoc a David Conover, un fotografo de verdad que
estaba de turista en las fbricas, fotografiando a las mujeres de la guerra and found
me, I worked as his model for a while. Cranlo o no en ese entonces, my hair was
Brown y lo tei rubio Para encontrar an ms trabajo. xito! I appeared on 33
magazine covers.
Finally I landed a contract at Twentieth Century Fox in August 1946. To boost my
appeal, I created the name Marilyn Monroe. A few months later I divorced by boring
husband. And I lost my contract with Fox the following year.
Eventually, my boyfriends bought me multiple plastic surgeries and bleached my
hair platinum blond. My make-up artist friend Allan developed my famous look:
dark arched brows, pale skin, "glistening" red lips, and a beauty mark.
I was named the It Girl in 1951 by numerous magazines and newspapers. But as
my stardom grew, so did my problems.
I gained a reputation for being difficult on film sets: yo llegaba tarde y tenia
problemas para recorder mis lineas
Para aliviar mi ansiedad e insomnio, I began to use barbiturates, amphetamines and
alcohol. I graced the cover of Playboy magazine fully nude, and I landed some of
my greatest acting roles in movies like The Seven-Year Itch, Bus Stop, The Misfits,

and Some like It Hot I even won a Golden Globe for best actress for the latter.
Perd muchos embarazos y llegue a ser severamente adicta a mis drogas
In total, I was married three times and had numerous affairs some speculate with
U.S. President John F. Kennedy too but Im not telling. Sure, I was a naughty girl.
(Sweetly accusatory) What of it!?
However, my life came to a crashing end on August 5, 1962. I died of an overdose
of sleeping pills at 36 years old.
I suppose its true whats been said: even stars fade away. (Thoughtful, then playful)
But not me!
