First year graduate student in the Masters in Exhibition Design program at the Corcoran School of the

Program Assistant (Temporary Position)

April 2016- August 2016

Assisted with the realization of the inaugural year of the Tulsa Artist Fellowship program, an
artist residency program created to cultivate Tulsas art scene by both supporting
local artists and attracting national artists.
Using arts background and public relations experience, helped Program Director
conceptualize programming to increase interaction between artists and the Tulsa community
and provide professional development and exhibition space for artists.
Additionally, conducted blog interviews, assisted with website, social media and graphics.

(Proposed and acquired funding for temporary position to the university)
Designed and taught experiential learning course, Topics in Studio Art: The Art of Curating,
which provided students with real world experience organizing an exhibition from start to finish
from coming up with a concept for a group show, to writing a press release and planning an
opening, to layout and installation. Course resulted in three exhibitions of artwork displayed in
the Coates University Center and Coates Library, one now permanently installed in the CUC.

Assisted Program Director in setting up the foundation for the program in its first two years.

Designed new Mellon office/humanities lab with gallery space to curate exhibitions of student
artwork, prompting the proposal of the Campus Art Curator position.
