Teachers note Tell the story of The Emperors New Clothes, up to the point where the tailors present
the new clothes to the emperor. Draw out that the tailors have tricked the emperor, and discuss why he
and his ministers pretend that they can see the clothes. Then discuss what each character in the
picture is doing and how they feel. Explain that miming uses no words, only gestures and movement.
