BIASING CALCULATIONS:
BIASING CONDITION
VCE=7 Volt
IC=13.34 mA
IB=70 uA
Again VB=3 V (By ensuring that transistor is not going to cut-off region while
operation. As the input signal is only 2 mV peak to peak so 3 V will serve the
purpose)
VB=3 V
(RB2*VCC) / (RB1+RB2) = 3 V
RB2*1.341=3=2.24 KOhm
RB1= (VCC/1.341)-RB2=15/1.341-2.24=8.95 KOhm
CALCULATION OF GAIN
Gm=IC/VT=13.34/26=.513 mho
Beta=IC/IB=13.34/.070=191
Rpi=beta/gm=372 Ohm
Rin=RB1||RB2||(Rpi+(1+Beta)RE)= 8.95k||2.24k ||33.4k=.69K||4.34K=1.7KOhm

2. What is the reason for the small discrepancy in the hand calculated and
simulated values? Which one is more accurate hand calculated or simulated?
The small discrepancy is due to the approximation taken while biasing. The
standard value of components used instead of using the calculated values.
