Generator test procedure

Generator Auto Start & stop


1. Move the IPMU rear buttons to the position that you can see

in pic. 1 (0,0,0,0)

2. Run the generator manually and check the values on the
generator controller and on the IPMU display (make sure all
the 3 phase display are available)
3. Calibrate the value to 170V (see calibrate procedure)
4. With the generator still running, Change the IPMU rear
buttons to the position that you can see in pic. 2 (2,2,2,0),
check the values on the generator controller and on the
IPMU display (make sure all the 3 phase display are
available) make sure the value are between 180V to 310V

5. Shutdown the generator and put it on Auto mode
6. Calibrate the value "BTS BATTERY VOLTAGE" to the actual
value using the calibration menu

7. Change the IPMU rear buttons to the position that you can

see in pic. 3 (1,1,0,0),

8. Change the configuration to the values written in table IPMU
LEADCOM NEW CONFIGURTION
9. Check the configuration and change the value "BTS BATTERY
LOW" to 60V

Restart the IPMU controller and wait for respond.

After a while the system should display the follow:


a. "starting DG" after few seconds the generator should
start
b. "checking DG" the system check the current that
supply by the generator
c. "warm-up in XX" count down for system start
d. "DG OK" after a while the ceiling vent will fan start
12.
Check your voltage value and see if the voltage values
between 160V to 320V
13.
Check that all the rectifier are function
14.
Cut the main generator breaker - see pic 4. Wait for
the Generator to shutdown

change the value "BTS BATTERY LOW" to 47
16.restart the IPMU
