GREAT PEOPLE

Some nights where I just lay down on my bed and think about the inevitable, I
would just think about the people that made the world what it is now. These
people are free from greed and pride. Regardless of their gender, they
sacrificed their all and even their lives for the moral benefit of mankind. They
live as a hero and die as a martyr.
The first person that pops up in my mind is none other than Dr. Jemiliah
Mahmood. She is not just your typical gynecologist, but she is much more
than that. Dr. Jemilahs kindness has been shown numerous times. She has
braved trials that many people even some of the bravest men could not even
think of doing. But she chose to fight on, braving war zones and disaster areas
with a singular determination to help children and families. During a 2003
mission in Iraq, she even suffered having a bullet in her left hip after being
shot by a Syrian gunman, but nevertheless, refused of going to the hospital to
remove it because she felt others were in more urgent need of medical
attention. She then took matters into her own hands and removed the bullet
and even stitched the wound herself. As her result of her bravery, she saved
thousands of women and children and is continuing to do so without bounds.
We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools., a
quote by the famous Martin Luther King Jr. It is almost impossible for him to
not be known to someone.
The actions and roles of Martin Luther King Jr. united people of different races
and ended racism as a whole. Eventhough, it was a very risky and lifethreatening cause, he was still faithful in achieving his dream. He helped us
overcome our ignorance of one another. He spoke out against laws that were
unfair. He was willing to stand up for his beliefs and act according to his
standards, people looked upon him as a national figure.
Last but definitely not least is mine and every Muslims idol which Muhammad
the Prophet (Peace be upon him). The Holy Prophet was sent by God to set
these bad people right. He hated their cruel ways. He worked hard to reform
them. He changed their habits and manners by his own shinning example. He
taught them to speak the truth, to showed, mercy to the poor and the sufferers
to respect women and to be kind to children. Despite the countless hate and
death threats made by his haters and the unbelievers, Holy Prophet
Muhammad (Peace be upon him) still stood up high and lived to fulfil his life
long mission which was to spread out the Word of Allah. The Holy Prophet

Muhammad (Peace be upon him) will always remain the greatest person to
live as his best contribution was introducing Islam to mankind.
In conclusion, these people have served a great justice and will forever live in
our hearts. As someone who want to make their lives sublime, we must follow
their example and it will leads us to the right path and will hopefully make us
into someone like them or even better.
