    Week of September 26th - 30th

    Grammar/Spelling:

    We will work on more sentence combining. DOL test will


    be taken on Thursday. Spelling homework will be a review of weeks 1 - 4 words
    and will be due on Friday. Test on Friday.

    Reading/Writing:

    We will discuss finding the main idea and supporting


    details to write a summary. We will also continue to use context clues to define
    words.
    Heinrich and Cavato - Test Friday

    Science:

    We will discuss the rock cycle. We will complete a lab on properties

    of rocks.

    Social Studies:

    We will continue to discuss the Olympics. We will create


    medals and complete a Hall of Fame Olympian writing activity to end our unit.

    Math:

    We will review traditional multiplication. We will interpret numbers


    stories to create equations with variables to complete the problems.
    Heinrich and Nee - Quiz Friday on 3 and 4 digit multiplication times 3 digit
    Cavato and Sheehy - Possible quiz on Wednesday or Thursday on estimation
    and creating equations.

    Other:
    Paw Count on Friday, hoping we earn a Celebration!
