Qualatex Quick Cube

To keep assembly time to a minimum, gather the materials and read

through the instructions before beginning.

Labor: About 25 Minutes

Materials:

24 12" (30cm) Yellow Quick Link Balloons 65214

80 5" (13cm) Purple Violet Latex Balloons 82697
8 5" Yellow Latex Balloons 43609

Instructions:

1. Inflate two 12" Quick Links to 10" (25cm) and tie into a pair.
Repeat to make three more pairs. Tie the pairs together end-to-end
to make a chain of eight. Then tie the first and the last Quick Links
together to make a loop. (See Figure A.)

4-Balloon Cluster
Inflate and size two balloons, then tie
the necks together. Repeat to make a
second pair, then twist the two pairs
together to make a 4-balloon cluster.

2. Make a 4-balloon cluster with 5" Purple Violet latex inflated to

3.5" (9cm) (see 4-Balloon Cluster above). Repeat to make three
more 4-balloon clusters. Wrap a cluster onto every other knot from
Step 1. By positioning the 3.5" balloons on the outside of the Quick
Links, youll create right angles to form a square. (See Figure B
on page 1.)
3. Make four 4-balloon clusters with 5" Purple Violet latex inflated
to 3" (8cm). Wrap these clusters around the remaining knots
between the Quick Links in the square from Step 2.

4. Repeat Steps 1-3 to make a second square. Set aside.

5. Inflate two 12" Quick Links to 10" and tie into a pair. Make a
4-balloon cluster with 5" Purple Violet latex inflated to 3" and wrap
it between the two Quick Links. (See Figure C on page 1.) Repeat
to make three more Quick Link pairs with a 3" cluster.
6. Tie the tip of one pair from Step 5 onto a corner of the first
Quick Link square. Tie the other tip onto the corner of the second
Quick Link square.
7. Repeat Step 6 to connect the remaining three corners of each
Quick Link square with a pair of Quick Links.
8. Inflate eight 5" Yellow latex to 3" and tie each one separately.
Wrap the knot ends into the 3.5" Purple Violet clusters on all the
corners of the cube.
