A new tire concept and technology for a new era

To maximize the performance of the tire, Bridgestone has
extended tire width on its new 46/90R57. The results
are tremendous: dramatically enhanced performance and
durability. Bridgestones new approach to tire
design translates to a host of superior
benefits in the 46/90R57 VELS.

Low heat generation

A shallow center groove solves the
problem between tread wear and heat
generation. The design effectively
reduces the amount of heat generated at the tread center without shortening tread life.

Longer tread life

A new wide tread pattern provides a
large contact area, lowering ground
pressure and extending tread life. The
new tread design also decreases
irregular wear and extends tread life
considerably.

Superior cut resistance

A new belt package and
higher enveloping
power made possible
by the employment of
wider tread protect
the tire from rock
cuts, the most costly
category of damage.

Fitment without
modification
More durability
The 46/90R57 VELS
uses the existing 29.00
x 57 rim, and can also
be mounted on the optional 32.00 x 57 rim when a
6.00 flange is used. This
eliminates the need for rim
modifications, clearance adjustments or component replacements.

A new low-profile casing ensures

more durability, achieves higher load
capacity and enables superb heat
resistance.
