Design Features of this bit
Titan Fixed Cutter Bits- A range of large diameter fixed cutter bits that feature extremely high
levels of lateral stability (high LSI) to resist bit whirl and other lateral vibrations. Profiles, gauge
design, and cutter technology are specifically chosen to give unrivaled performance in
large-diameter holes where inertial BHA forces can be enormous. These bits are recommended
for all large-diameter applications where erratic performance, mechanical cutter damage on the
shoulder, and bit/tool failures are limiting performance.
DuraForce XDImpact Extreme Durability Cutters- Advanced thermostable PDC cutters with
improved impact-resistant edge geometry. These extreme durability cutters are better suited to
withstand edge chipping experienced in harsh interbedded applications, where impact and cutter
overload are the predominant cutter failure mechanism.
SmoothTorque Torque Control Components - SmoothTorque torque control components
are inserts placed between primary cutters to provide a predictable torque response to applied
weight-on-bit and reduction in torque variance.
DiamondBack cutters- DiamondBack cutters enhance durability, providing increased cutter
density to some or all blades.
