This document provides instructions for an e-learning session and assignment on stock assessment of exploited populations and population structure. Students are asked to review chapters on fisheries stock assessment models, estimating biomass, and stock-recruitment relationships from a referenced manual. They should also review additional online resources on stock assessments. Each group must then produce a presentation with no more than 30 slides summarizing their findings, including a cover slide and concluding slide, and submit it by email by the deadline of October 17, 2016.
