The Bank has the following challenging opportunities within our Small and
Medium Enterprise Division:
1) Relationship Officer
2) Service Officer
Details regarding main responsibilities and profile for each position are
mentioned below:
1) Relationship Officer
Main Responsibilities
Grow the portfolio of SME clients both in volume and in profitability
leveraging on sales leads from multiple sources and own leads
Promptly identify and understand clients actual banking requirements, and
provide advice to clients on a wide and diverse range of financial solutions
customised to best meet their financial needs
Build, maintain, manage and consolidate close relationship with customers in
the portfolio through regular contacts and visits, and engage frequently in
networking activities in order to establish new contacts
Coach, guide, motivate and assist SME Service Officers to grow and
confidently interact with clients
Ensure quality service to customers through close follow-up, personal
attention and effective coordination
Escalate issues and constraints identified to higher levels, propose and
discuss appropriate remedial measures in a timely manner
Support the team in implementing sales tactics/strategies and in achieving
targets
Closely monitor post sales advances portfolio and account conduct so as to
contain impairment level within set and agreed parameters
Support the team in mining and analysing customer data to identify growth
opportunities
Own end-to-end sales targets to be assigned from prospect stage till
disbursement
Cross-sell Bank products
Profile
Minimum HSC holder but degree holder will be an advantage
At least 5 years of banking experience, preferably in the SME, business
banking and corporate segments
Excellent networking and selling skills
Confident, self-driven, assertive, innovative and dynamic
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Effective negotiation and influencing skills
Good credit appraisal and analytical skills, specially pertaining to financial
statements
Sound knowledge of banking practices, procedures and products
Strong commitment and willingness to go extra mile to make things happen
whenever required

2) Service Officer
Main Responsibilities
Attend to walk-in customers
Support in preparing proposal note for Relationship Officer
Follow-up with customer in collecting KYC and other relevant documents and
information
Coordinating with SME Support Centre, Credit Underwriting team and Credit
Services Unit in fulfilment of SME advances application
Liaise with other departments for effective query resolution and communicate
with customers
Maintenance of the Banks Tracker system
Be responsible for timely MIS and Information to Management enabling key
decision making
Be responsible for timely escalation of issues and constraints to higher level
Responsible for actively reducing TAT (Turnaround time) and sales error
Ensure quality customer service and efficiency at all times
Assist in growing the portfolio of customers by identifying business
opportunities and cross-selling
Build and maintain strong relationship with customers
To handle customers in the absence of the Relationship Officer
Profile
Minimum HSC holder
At least 2 years of banking experience, preferably in the SME, business
banking and corporate segments
Excellent networking skills
Confident, self-driven and dynamic
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Effective negotiation and influencing skills
Good credit appraisal and analytical skills, specially pertaining to financial
statements
Sound knowledge of banking practices, procedures and products
Strong commitment and willingness to go extra mile to make things happen
whenever required
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Capable of working within a team in order to deliver superior customer
service and consolidate banking relationship
Kindly note:
Only those possessing the required qualifications/experience will be called for
