Carburetor Servicing - Colt, Junior

Removal
'" To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,

i l l twist and remove spark plug lead.

2. Remove the starter housing as described in Section 7.

3. Remove the starter housing mounting bracket and the air
silencer.

Remove the cam follower screw, follower and link.

5. Remove the two carburetor retaining nuts. Remove the

carburetor and gasket from the intake manifold.

fJl 6. If necessary, remove the four screws retaining the intake

manifold to the powerhead. Remove the intake manifold and
leaf plate. Discard the gaskets.
