SUGARCANE JUICE EXTRACTOR

A sugarcane juice extractor, extracts sugarcane juice with the help of a

combination of high torque rollers powered by a motor. The motor transmits
power through a V belt, to a flywheel, which then transmits power through a
gear train to two rollers. The gear train consists of 6 gears connected through
shafts. The entire assembly is held in a rigid metallic framework, fixed with nuts
and bolts. We intend to design the gears, shafts, flywheel, rollers and the
required nuts and bolts, using Elements of Machine Design. Mechanical
Analysis will be done and subsequently a CAD model will be prepared.
