Rear Panel
It is possible to connect with peripheral devices such as monitor, printer,
VCR, and so on through Real Panel, which is at backside of system.

VGA (Output)
Print out VGA signal with monitor.

PARALLEL (Output)
Connect general PC printer through Parrallel.

RS-232C (Input/Output)
You can perform VCR control and Open Line Transfer via the Serial port.

USB (Input/Output)
You can use the data stored in the media without the systems re-booting
if you connect the media (MO, CD-RW, Print, etc.) with the USB port.

LAN (Input/Output)
It enables you to use DICOM. It transfers the patients information to other
servers through DICOM Network.

AUDIO (Input/Output)
It is possible to input and output Audio signal.

VHS (Input/Output)
Connect with VCR through VHS system.

S-VHS (Input/Output)
Connect with VCR through S-VHS system.

PATIENT MONITOR (Output)

Connect with Patient monitor.

PRINTER (Output)
Connect with Echo printer.
It support the 9V exterior power.

INTERLACE RGB (Output)

Print out Interlace RGB signal. Connect with color video printer, and so on.

You can connect it to ECG via the ECG connector at the back of the
system.
You can adjust the size of ECG using dial, which is at right side.

Foot Switch Connector

The connector that can connect foot switch is at forth and lower part of
system.

Illuminator Connector
This System provides an illuminator for the Alpha Numeric Keyboard at a
dark place. The connector is located under the control panel, and you can
turn it on or off by using the switch on its hat.

CAUTION

Turn off the system before assembling or disassembling

the illuminator on the system. If not, it may cause malfunction
of the system. Also, if you drop the illuminator or shove it by
force, it may be broken down.

CAUTION

If raindrops or water drops spatter on the illuminator, or a

high percentage of humidity is shown, please do not operate
it. Because you many be in danger of an electric shock.

Probe Holder
This system provides a probe holder at the left side of the control panel.
You can put a probe into it. Please refer to the figure 5.

Microsoft Windows printer

You can use a Microsoft Windows 2000 compatible printer for
SA8000LIVE PRIME. The connector should be connected to the printer port of
Rear Panel or USB port.
Your printer may be EPSON Stylus Photo 870 or EPSON Stylus COLOR
860, HP1500LP, HP1200LP, and HP Desk jet 6122.
Do not place an inkjet printer inside the patient environment.

CAUTION

Make sure that you install only the printer and driver that are
available on the English version of the Microsoft Windows 2000.
Please entrust the Medison Customer Service Department with
the installation of the printer and driver.
Before connecting a printer, please confirm that the printer is
the same as the one that has been selected in the System setup
or Windows.
