READING
We will be reading Penguin Chick. We will
also be reading the novel Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory.
RELIGION
We will be discussing belonging to the
Church and the Our Father prayer.
MATH
The chapter 2 test on graphing will be on
Thursday, October 6. The pretest will be
coming home on Wednesday, October 5.
The multiplication test will be on Friday,
October 7. The tables for the week will be
the tables of 0-1. Please practice every
night. I have sent home a letter about
multiplication in your childs folder today.
SPELLING
There will be a test on Chapter 7 on
Friday.

HANDWRITING
We will be introducing cursive letters.
SCIENCE
We will be discussing ecosystems, food
chains, and food webs.
SOCIAL STUDIES
The study guide for Chapter 3 will be
coming home on Monday, October 3 and
the test will be on Tuesday, October 11.
LANGUAGE ARTS
We will be learning about pronouns.
For Creative Writing we will be working
on a writing quizlet to help students get
ready for the Aspire test. We will also be
writing in a daily journal.
In Phonics we will be reviewing blends
and digraphs.
