5. PACKING,
5.1 The material
shall be packed in suitable, well-closed containers as
agreed to between the purchaser and the supplier.
6. MARKING
6.1 The containers shall be securely closed and legibly and indelibly
marked with the following information:
a>Manufacturers
name;

trade-mark, if any;
or otherwise; and
6.1.1 The containers may also be marked with the IS1 CertJication
Mark.
Nom - The use of the IS1 Certification Mark is governed by the provirions of the
Indian Stardards Institution
(Certification
Marks ) Act and the Rules and Rcguletions made thereunder.
The IS1 Mark on products covered by an Indian Standard

7. SAMPLING
7.1 Representative samples of the material shall be drawn as prescribed
in 3 of IS: 548 ( Part I )-1964*.
6. TESTS
8.1 Tests shall be carried out as prescribed in IS: 548 ( Part I)-1964*.
Reference to the relevant clauses of that standard is given in co1 5 cjf
Table 1.
8.2 Qaolity of ReagentsUnless specified otherwise, pure chemicals
