Location

My House

Purpose
This is to show some
of the flashbacks that
will be shown
throughout my film,
mostly of Lily writing
the letter and of her
and her friends
packing up the car
with their camping
gear. This also gives
the audience an idea
of where Lily was
brought up.

Henley Woods

This will be my main

location due to the
fact that my
characters are
camping in my film. I
wanted to make the
film set in a forest as
on my questionnaire
that was a very
popular setting for a
horror film, and it
connotes isolation.
Having this as my
main location in my
film is a usual
convention in horror
films and would be
very good for
shooting in different
parts of it.

Comments
This location wont be my
main location, but I want to
include it so that I have a
range of locations throughout
my trailer. It will be filmed
both inside and outside of my
house for both sections. Ill
need to film it on a day where
my family are all out so that I
dont have any background
noise of people who arent in
my film talking. Ill have to try
and make it so that I dont get
too much noise from passing
cars as I live on a main road.
As its a public place Im going
to try and make sure that
when Im filming I dont get
interrupted, so I will try to find
quite a secluded place to film.
There may be a few health
and safety issues due to tree
roots and branches that may
be on the floor, so Im going to
ask all of my actors to wear
safe and comfortable footwear
to try and prevent any
accidents. Lighting may be an
issue for me as well as I have
no control over it, however I
really want my film to have a
naturalistic feel to it so I
hopefully can try to
experiment with this feature.
Filming at dusk during the
scene where Finn confronts
Lily will be extremely effective.
