17. WATER PROOFING Admixture:

There are different types of water proofing admixture available in the market, which is used with the
concrete for the structure which is constructed under water.
Example: Maga-ad-WL-1 or Conplast X400, etc., chloride free waterproofing admixture with a light
plasticizing effect, is based on a blend of lignosulphonates and synthetic polymers.
It is suitable for use in sewage facilities, channels, power plants, water retaining structures, water pipes
and in general, all types of concrete or mortar in contact with water.
