LITERATURE OPTION 2: LANDSCAPE
For landscape literature design the fdf logo should always have a
clearing zone of 20%.
12mm

12mm

The widest point of the flag X at the bottom of the page should
always be 28% of the width of the page. For example an A4
landscape page is 297mm wide, 28% of this is 82mm as per the
example on the left hand side.
The title area of the document should be always written in 60pt
DIN Bold and sit 12mm from the top and 12mm from the left
hand side of the page.
The orange area of this example shows the area which is free for
the designer to be flexible with, all artwork will need to be signed
off by the Director of Communications at fdf.
When producing marketing materials the flag may appear in
white or any colour from the primary or secondary colour palette.
The chosen colour must however stand out from the main image
or section of the material so that there is an obvious contrast and
distinction between the flag and the image.

When choosing colourways for the flag guidance must be sought

from 0.3.2 Logo Variations (page 6) to ensure that the correct
logo variation is used.
A key line should never be applied to the flag and no imagery or
design should intrude into the flag.
