ARSHA (PILES)

Favourable Rasa-Tikta & Amla Avoid-Kashaya, Katu,


Madhur rasa
Eat always whole flour for fibres, dont refine any flour.
Brown rice is beneficial in piles.
Consume the following vegetables-Parwal, Spinach, Kovai
(Tondali), lady finger, Snake gourd, Shepu, Bottle gourd.
Sesame seeds are useful in this condition so use it in
various food.
Garlic is also useful, use it in diet, can eat even raw.
Can eat green gram (Mug) kadhan, Red gram (Tur) & horse
gram (Kuleeth) kadhan.
Eat Lemon, Wood apple, Amla, Banana, Grapes, Guava,
Pomegranate regularly.
Eat figs daily in any form, Dry or fresh. If fresh is not
available, soak in water at night & eat at morning.
Drink minimum 2 glass of Buttermilk daily.
Boiled water with omum(Ajvayan) & consume it on full day.
Aniseed(Baadishep) should eat daily after every meal.
Consume Yam elephant(Suran) frequently in diet as it is
effective in piles.
Consume maximum salads like cucumber, Tomato, Radish
Onion etc. during meals as it gives maximum fiber.
Take vegetables soup like tomato soup, Mix veg.soup at
dinner.
At night-1 glass lukewarm milk with 1 tablespoon cows
ghee.
Laja mand, Kuleeth Yush, Mataki yush should be take in piles.
Use black salt, coriander, Asafoetida (Hinga), omum
(Ajavayan) maximum while preparing meal.
Avoid heavy, cold ,dry food, dont eat black gram, peas,
maize, ragi, French millets(vari),Bengal gram, fried food,
contradictory food(Viruddha aahar)

Avoid fruits like raw banana, watermelon, Jambu fruit,


pineapple & jujuba.
Avoid-Excessive water, Leftover food, Pickles, Papad,
over exercise, sleep at noon, suppression or induction
of physical vegas.

BREAKFAST
2 figs
Rajgeera lahi + 1 glass buttermilk+ black salt
LUNCH

Spinach soup -1 glass


Garlic & coconut chutney
Old Rice-1 bowl
Kovai ( Tondali) vegetable
Wheat chapattis.
Salads Radish, Cucumber, Onion

4PM
1 khakra
Buttermilk 1 glass with black salt
DINNER

Mixed veg.soup
Rice Roti
Ridge gourd vegetable
Amla pickle
