This free course is a combination of remedial
arithmetic skills and the rudiments of algebra; it
is designed in a simplified manner to meet the
needs of students lacking sufficient preparation
or proficiency for college arithmetic, algebra,
trigonometry, and geometry. In addition, the
course covers topics such as whole numbers,
fractions, decimals, percents, algebraic
representations, operations with polynomials,
trigonometric functions, graphs of trigonometric
functions and the pythagorean theorem.
The course contains four units. Each unit
consists of a series of video lectures and short
quizzes. The topics covered in these videos are
listed in the course outline.
