LSMW-Legacy System Migration Workbench----T.code---LSMW

Create Project, Sub Project, Object with meaningful description
The LSM Workbench is an R/3 based tool that support
when transferring data from non-SAP systems to SAP R/3.

1. Maintain Object Attributes

Click on f8

Enter T.code like xd01(create customer), when u enter xd01 we can c

creation of customer screen like this here we can select which r the
fields r clients required(can set mandatory fields in A/C group)

Like this we have to fill every mandatory fields(clientrequirments) upto

sales area data
After filling all details can c below screen

Now click on

Then save it came back

Enter T.code creation of customer XD01 or CUSTOMER(Recording

Name)
THEN SAVE CAME BACK

2. Maintain Source Structures

Click on OBJECT OVERVIEW

Click on Table button

Here select all with CTRL+Y and paste it to XL

When u clickon text to columns

Clickon next button and next

Here put on cursor kunnr and text with d help of shift button select
text clickon finish button.
After that select sheet 2 copy as it is tables name, Numbers and
change char as a C&N&D Only and copy to sheet 2.

Cameback to LSMW screen then save and cameback

again
Click on f8, click on displaychange, click on create structure

Fill like this sourcestructure and description

Press enterkey

Click on save and came back

3. Maintain Source Fields
Click on F8, click on display-change, put on cursor in
CUSTOMERMASTER then click on Tablemaintenance

When u clickon table maintenance can c dis screen

Now copy fm xl sheet 2 to here using ctrlC and ctrlY press enter key
Now save and came back can c

Again save and came back

4. Maintain Structure Relations
F8

Here simply click on display-change, save and came back

5. Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules
F8

Press enter key upto c below screen

After that can c below screen

Then save and came back

6. Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Defined Routines
F8

Then come back

7. Specify Files
F8

Select display-change, den select legacydata clickon add entry

Here we have to specify files which r made xl.sheet but that xl.sheet
we have to convert as a text file(have to attach only text file)
HW TO CREATE A FILE FM XL TO TEXT (EXACT STEPS)

Now open new xl sheet do like this

When u do like this system will make below xl.sheet only DARK Feilds

This example we will give to the client, based on this clientusers will
prepare the details like this

After that we have to conver fm xl to text file like below screens

When we get details fm our client finally we assigned this file to lsmw
in specifyfiles.
After that wn we attach text file to lsmw can c below screen and to
maintain some mandatory settings like below screen
