Measuring Carbon Potential Using Zirconium Ball Oxygen Probe - Zircoprobe
Measuring Carbon Potential Using Zirconium Ball Oxygen Probe - Zircoprobe
Swiss Design
The Zircoprobe oxyprobe sensor is designed to process signals from a stabilized Zirconium
Oxide Ball. With a unique, patented Swiss design, the larger surface area of the ball enables it to
sense the atmospheric gas quicker and more accurately than conventional probes.
Zirconium Oxide ball, which is a solid state

temperature. In principle, the sensor is in the
form of a solid-state electrolyte that is

contacted on both side, on the side by
reference air and on the other by the gas to be
measured. The ball sensor is so formed
mechanically that the two gases are kept apart so that there is no possibility of them mixing,
enabling highly accurate, repaeatable results.
