AGRO-INDUSTRY MODERNIZATION CREDIT AND FINANCING PROGRAM (AMCFP)

The AMCFP functions primarily towards financing for the agricultural program as well as the fisheries
program of the Department of Agriculture (DA). It focuses to improve credit access of the rural poor
through the implementation of a comprehensive agriculture, fisheries and agrarian reform credit and
financing system that would benefit farmers, fisher folk and small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
engaged in agriculture and fisheries.

COOPERATIVE BANKS AGRI-LENDING PROGRAM (AMCFP-CBAP)

PROGRAM

The Agro-Industry Modernization Credit and Financing ProgramCooperative Banks Agri-Lending

Program (AMCFP-CBAP) is a depository mode of credit delivery that complements the wholesalerretailer scheme of the AMCFP. Through the Program, the cooperative banks expands their agri-fishery
loan portfolio while lowering the pass-on rates to farmers and fisherfolk borrowers.

SIKAT SAKA
The DA Sikat Saka Program is a project of the Department of Agriculture in support of its Foods Staples
Sufficiency Program. This is in partnership with Land Bank of the Philippines to provide credit
assistance to small palay farmers for their palay production. DA agencies together with the Irrigators
Association will provide support to farmers such as extension, administrative services, assured market
and irrigation.

AGRI-MICROFINANCE PROGRAM (AMP)

The Agri-Microfinance Program (AMP) for Small Farmers and Fisherfolk and their Households is a
joint program of the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) and the Peoples Credit and Finance
Corporation (PCFC) for the provision of credit to qualified borrower organizations for re-lending to
small farmers and fisherfolk households and groups/organizations in El Nio and calamity stricken
areas.

AGRICULTURE FISHERIES FINANCING PROGRAM (AFFP)

The Agriculture and Fisheries Financing Program (AFFP) has a streamlined design to make access to
financing of small farmers and fisherfolk, particularly for those who are registered in the Registry
System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA), easier.
