Survey on Hair Dressing Door Entrance

Description

Presence of a 200 mm thick block wall at proposed door location

The door opening will start from an existing column
A store full of unwanted good is just behind the proposed door location and has no tiles,

lighting and screed on internal walls

Store must be emptied and improved prior to commencement of work (breaking/cutting

of wall)
Marking of door dimension using coloured pen

Cutting / breaking of wall from ground (tile level)

o Door Dimension : 240 cm by 90 cm

Concrete placing would be needed around the opening of the wall
o (use wooden formwork and braces to hold and allow plinth concrete hardening)
If plinth is used on top of opening, allow for 100 mm concrete plinth with 2y6 steel
o Then insert aluminium framing
240 cm by 90 cm
Note plinth could be avoided for aluminium door
o 2y6 reinforcement of 90 cm long for resisting shear
Carting of waste from onsite is very important as the main entrance for hairdressing class is
right next door.
