Maritime Training Institute of The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., is a premier
Maritime Training Institute, established in 2013 & it is affiliated to Indian Maritime
University (IMU). The Institute offers Pre-Sea Nautical Course (DNS) located at
VOC Port Trust,Tuticorin.
The Institute is looking for young and energetic faculty with a flair for teaching for
various streams, invites applications for the empanelment of Visiting Faculties,
purely on visiting basis (as and when required) in the disciplines as mentioned
below.

Age The age limit of visiting faculty should not be more than 65 years as on 1
July 2016. However, preference will be given to the candidates, who are
below 65 years with teaching experience.

For Visiting Marine Faculty:

Applicant should be in possession of certificate of Training for Trainers and
Assessors (TOTA), as applicable If not then same can be submitted by the
candidate within 6 months from the date of empanelment.
