Above are photographs of the digipak I designed. I evidently chose a
vibrant color scheme in order to entice a younger demographic of target audience as according to dominant ideology they prefer this sort of color scheme. It connotes happiness and optimism and could evoke positivity from the target audience, and this is crucial as my chosen song is upbeat and one that encourages dancing. I also thought it would be effective to have a female protagonist featuring on my digipak in order to attract male attention, conforming to Laura Mulveys male gaze theory that they would look at women within the media for voyeuristic pleasure. I chose to not bore my audience with loads of typography and decided to stick to lots of bright images and a provocative protagonist. Below Is a full photograph:
