Decide what your biz is going to do. What good or service will
you provide?
What will you call your biz?
What needs or wants will it satisfy?
Which sector of the economy is it in?
What is its vision? What is its mission?
What is the main objective?
What is the main strategy?
Who are the main stakeholders inside and outside the biz?
What do they want?
Identify the functions of your biz. Who will be
responsible for each one?
How will you add value to your product?
What market will you be in?
What assets will you need to set up in the biz, i.e. what will
you have to invest in? What will they cost?
If you start a company, identify what will go in the Articles of
Association. What will go into the Memorandum of
Association?
What motivates you to start the business?
What obstacles (problems) do you anticipate in setting up
your biz?
Identify the inputs, the outputs and the process.
What factors of production will you need?
Describe at each function of your biz will do: operations,
marketing, and finance, HRM.
What are the most important factors to consider when
you set up your biz?
How is your biz going to be ethical?
How will people know you are being ethical?
How will you finance your business? How much will you need?
What are the likely costs and benefits of being ethical?
