After all the sludge is removed, the tank can be washed with water.
The key is to get a lot of water into and then out of the tank as fast as
possible - weak sulfuric acid is very corrosive to carbon steel, so you want to
minimize the time that the steel is exposed to weak sulfuric acid. A weak
caustic solution can also be used to neutralize the residual acid. Make sure
the tank is dried, with no standing liquid remaining in the tank as it is
inspected.
1.) Q.
2.) Verify contents of the tanker is emptied and is in proper location, and
parked properly in the correct offloading position near to Nitrogen

Rubber Boots, Rubber Gloves, Face Shield) and availability of portable
safety shower.
4.) Ensure Nitrogen hose and connections are in good condition.
5.) Ensure Acid transfer hose and connections are in good condition.
