In The Classroom This Week

* A huge thank you to our parent chaperones that helped on our field trip! It was a success! I look
forward to meeting with each of you during our Parent Conferences this week. If you need to
change your appointment time, or if you are running late, please call Mrs. Bebe at the elementary
office. My schedule is full, so if there is a delay, it is likely that we will have to reschedule for
another day. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
* Reading: This week, we will finish up our A-Z mysteries reading groups.
* Math: We will learn about how division and multiplication relate to one another during our math
classes this week. We will have our test over the concept of division (Chapter 5) on Friday.
* Science: Animal adaptations will be our focus this week. We have already learned about animal
adaptations through researching for the informational essay, but this week we will look at
specific examples of bird adaptations.
* Writing: After weeks of work, we are ready to start making our magazines! We look forward to
showing you are work when the writing piece is complete.
* Grammar: Verbs continue to be our focus this week. We will learn about action verbs and the
verb be.
