OBJECTIVE
By the end of this lesson, the students should be able to:
1. determine the cause and effect of the world war 1;
2. draw the relationship of countries among the member triple entente and triple
alliance;
3. share their ideas and reaction about the world war 1.

III. Procedure

There will be a game Man in a cage. In this game, the students will guess
the group of word that is covered. I will ask students to suggest a letter. If it
appears in the word, I will reveal it in all of the correct spaces. If the letter does
not appear in the word, will write it off to the side and begin drawing the image of
a hanging man. This will continue until the students guess the word correctly.

The students will determine cause and effect of the World War 1 by choosing
from the list .The class will be group in to two. Group 1 will determine the cause
of the war while group 2 will determine the effect of the war. Each group has 10
minutes to choose and write it on a manila paper. After this each group should
choose 1 or 2 representative to present their work.

1. What is meaning of militarism, alliances, imperialism and nationalism?


2. How do militarism, alliances, imperialism and nationalism became causes
of war?
3. Why Austria-Hungary, Russia, France, Germany, Italy and Great Britain
seek for an alliance?
4. What are the two separate peace treaties are signed by the countries
involve in World War 1?
5. How was Germany punished for being part of the war?
6. What are the effects of the World War 1?
7. What are the rights and responsibilities gained by the women during and
after the World War 1?
c. Abstraction
There will be four groups in the class. Each member of the group will think
one word which best describe the World War 1 then they will merge the words to
construct a sentence that summarize our topic.
d. Application
Draw the relationship of the members of the Triple Entente and Triple Alliance
then relate it to your relationship with your friends?
