Reaction Paper
I was very blessed to attend the Reed 4 recollection. I learn many things from the
speaker Mr. Arnel Tindugan. His talk was very inspiring and eye opening. I was also
blessed to share some of my stories to my classmate and friends.
I am very thankful that CRE included a confession during the recollection because I
felt light after the confession. It was really a good time for me to reflect on my sins
and ask for forgiveness afterwards.
After the confession I really enjoyed the mass. I was probably the most
unconventional mass I have ever attended. The priests homely was very funny and
interactive. I love the fact that it was conversational.
During the recollection I remember when I was still a high school senior. I remember
having second thoughts about what degree program to take in college. I remember
being firm about taking up psychology because my parents and aunts where forcing
me to take it. They said that if I take psychology it will be easier for me to find a job
and the salary for psychologist is high. But, at the very last minute I decided to take
up mass communication. I realized that masscom was truly for me. It was my first
choice. I knew that the salary is less compared to other jobs but I know that taking
this degree program will make me happier.
I also remember when I got into a huge fight with my mother. I talk back at her
because there were things she said that were very hurtful. I was very angry that I
did not talk to her for three days. Suddenly I realize that it was very hard for me to
live under one roof with someone I was not talking to. I also realize that the thing
they do they do it because they love me. That is why like the prodigal son i
reconciled with my mother.
Until now I am still trying to know myself more. I hope as I get older I become a
better person for my community and to God. I am very thankful that I enrolled
myself in USJR because I know I can grow as a better individual especially because
they offer religious education.
