This training will allow the trainees to:

Train the new staf

material for 5 NTPC trainings: EL01, EL02, EL06, HT01
and OC01.of a duration of 1 to 2 days (refresh)

Part 1: training of trainers (3 days)


Introduction to training of trainer and its role
Pedagogical technique (role play, explain in detail, clearly
writing on board, loudly speak, frequently discuss with
trainee, power point slide show, VDO clip, game,
exercises, and etc)
Agenda design and timemanagement
Playing a role as a trainer to presenta sample topic as
Lao grammar or English grammar
Tools for conducting training (documents, diagrams, LCD

Part 2: Assistance and coaching of the NTPC trainers (3days)


Buildingthe training packages with 3 components: TOR,
trainer plan, and training materials for EL01, EL02, EL06,
HT01 and OC01
Making the documents for Lab/Experiment practice
Practice to be a trainer for both lecture and lab of EL01,
EL02, EL06, HT01 and OC01
Playing a role as a trainerto present, lecture and
lab/experiment practice
Pedagogical technique
5 Training packages on EL01, EL02, EL06, OC01, HY01 to
conduct refresh training. Each training package should
include one folder with:
1 TOR (one page introduction)
2 Trainer plan (1-3 pages listing all activities of the
trainer)
3 Training materials (selected in the folders of
NTPC, other sources or created: power point,
exercises)

Presentation by the trainers and small training


Group discussion case studies, questions and answers
Documents, diagrams, power point presentation, white
board, LCD projector, Lab/Experiment and etc

Training objective
At the end of the training, the participants will be able to:

Understand the roles of trainer and the technique of providing and sharing the
knowledge

Trainees:
Venue: NTPC on site
Technical staf at least 2-year experience who passed 1 of 5
or NTPC head quarter
training courses EL01, EL02, EL06, HT01 and OC01
Duration: 6 days
Assessment method:
Playing a role as a trainer to present, lecture and
lab/experiment practice
Evaluate the pedagogical technique
Building 5 training packages on EL01, EL02, EL06, HT01
and OC01 to conduct the training. Each training package
should include: TOR, Trainer plan and Training material
