Reflection

As a leader of our group, I was the one who takes much pressure and
responsibilities than my member. But despite of that pressure and
responsibilities, I learned and realized the major role of management.
Planning is the foundation of everything in the TRADEX, without
planning we would not head to something positive, and there will be no
coordination of task without planning. From time to time I always think of a
plan on how we will run the group during TRADEX, and I always think of
backup plans just in-case uncertainty comes.
As a leader, I want to see everything organized according to the plan.
I always ensure that my members are organized, our booth is always
presentable, and our documents and requirements are always filed.
Leading is the most difficult responsibility that I ever encounter. It is
difficult especially when your members dont follow your command and it is
more difficult when you cannot handle your anger towards your members.
The most thing I realized about leading is that when you lead, you initiate
and not just commanding only.
Controlling is like how you play the game. Everything needs to be
efficient and effective, and you can only do this when you control everything
very well.
TRADEX is not just an implementation of the feasibility study, it is an
implementation and a slight training ground of management students. The
impact of this to me was very positive because it opens my eyes on what I
would be when I become a leader in the near future and on a bigger group
of people.
