Stages of the lesson (Learning Activities)

EVOCATION
1.Organization
-The teacher greets the pupils and creates the atmosphere;
-The pupils greet him back.
2.Warm up
-The teacher refers the pupils to the blackboard and asks them
to read the qualities of a person from the handouts.
-The pupils will read the following:
Hello, my name is and I am a ... person.
For example: Hello, my name is Iuliana and I am a curious,
responsible and friendly person.
3. Checking homework
-The teacher checks the ex. 4 , p.72, comment on the poem
making reference to pictures 1 and 2.
4. Preparation
-The teacher announces the competences and the subcompetences of the lesson. He directs the exercises I,
Pronunciation, read as quickly as you can without making
mistakes and Idiomatic Expression, read the following
expression and match them to their meanings. Read and
translate the poem I must not tease my mother.

meaning of the following words.

-The pupils are directed to the ex. 4 and match the words with
their definition.
-The teacher refers the pupils to the Grammar Guide.
The teacher directs the pupils to the ex.1 where they will have
to paraphrase the senteces using the verb wish
-The pupils listen to the teacher and do the exercise.
V. FEEDBACK
a Assessment
-The teacher refers the pupils to the competences and subcompetences of the lesson. The pupils decide what competences
have been achieved and what have not, they make conclusions.
b Homework
-The teacher gives to the homework ex III Discusion
Points,read the text I must not tease my mother and learn the
poem.
-The teacher announces the end of the lesson, thanks the pupils
for attention and says goodbye. The pupils thank the teacher for
the lesson and leave for the break.
