    Cardiac asthma and bronchial asthma are respiratory conditions that affect different sites but cause similar symptoms. Cardiac asthma is caused by acute left ventricular failure or congestive cardiac failure which reduces heart pumping efficiency and leads to fluid build up in the lungs. Bronchial asthma affects the lungs and is characterized by shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, and tightness in the chest often at night or with exercise. Both conditions result in airway narrowing and difficulty breathing.

    failure(left heart failure) or
    congestive(left and right) cardiac failure
    Reduced pumping efficiency of heart
    which leads to build up of fluid in lungs
