Course Description:
This is an introductory course in financial management. We
provide the student with basic concept of corporate finance, investment and
financing concepts, which are important to most managerial people. Students are
required to learn the content and scope of financial management and the vital roleplayed by a financial manager.

Final Examinations

Quizzes:
Altogether (2+2) = 4 quizzes will be taken during the semester. No makeup quizzes
will be taken. Students are strongly recommended not to miss any quiz.

Group Assignment:
There will be a group assignment to be prepared and presented by a group of 5
students. The group will be formed on a random basis. Each group will write and
present a formal report on a subject selected by the course instructor. No late
submission will be entertained.
Midterm Exam:
One midterm exam will be taken at the middle of the semester. You can expect both
short and broad type questions including theoretical and quantitative problems.
Final Examination:
The final exam will cover chapters taught in the class after the midterm exam. The
details will be announced in due time.

Classroom Etiquette and Policy:

Students are expected to attend class and be on time. Students must have
80% attendance of the total number of classes.
It is entirely the responsibility of the students to collect the materials that has
been missed due to failure of attending any classes for any reason whatsoever.
Let it be reminded that lectures will not be repeated.
Withdrawal from class is not automatic. The student who desires to withdraw is
responsible for processing the withdrawal.
Students are encouraged to actively participate in the class discussion and ask
relevant questions.

Students must turn off their cell phones or put on silent mode prior to entering
the classroom.
