TEACHER: The One Who Changed My life

You may grow old and tremble in your anatomies, you may lie awake at night
listening to the disorder of your veins, you may miss your only love, you may see
the world against you being devastated by evil lunatics or know your honor
trampled in the sewers of baser minds. There is only one thing for it - to learn. Learn
why the world wags and what wags it. That is the only thing which the mind can
never exhaust, never alienate, never be tortured by, never fear or distrust, and
never dream of regretting. Learning is the only thing for you. Look what lot of things
there are to learn.
Magulang pagtarung ug eskwela those are the encouraging words that
were carved from my spine down to my heart. Those words were once spoken by a
teacher who inspired me the most. Those might be simple yet it meant a lot to me.
Teacher touches life and affects eternity, thats true indeed.
Maam Joan Postrano, yes thats her name. Shes the best teacher I ever had, the
one who was always there to support me in times of my curiosity behind the huge
desire to learn. She inspired me to pursue my dreams and encouraged me to fulfill
my potentials. I am very thankful that Id met the person who had changed my life.
In our journey, she taught me how to become a good and responsible student
with stunning attitude. She molded me as a daughter of God. We have lot of good
times together. We ate together, watched television and worshipped God. She
explained to me the meaning of life, how huge and expanded its parts and kinds.
I still remember the first time I saw her waving her hands to me with wide
accommodating smile drawn in her face. That was a long time ago and now shes
still living a complimenting life. We seldom see each other because of some family
problems but this barriers didnt end our student-teacher relationship. One day
while I was walking, she waved her hand to me. I was so aggressive to wave back
but then, I know that she didnt see it because she was on a fast car. The night
came I was so eager to call her and to see if shes alright, but what shocking answer
I heard, Magulang nadisgrasya si Ate. My fears struck, Im about to lose my hero. I
felt like Im gonna die, the whole world stopped and the tick-tock of the clock
stopped as my heart beats so fast. I dont know if I can accept it. But deep inside, I
know she will overcome it. 3 months passed, I received an information about her,
Magulang na kakaya ra si Ate, what a good news! My hero, my teacher, my
cousin, my inspiration surmounted the problem. She said, if theres possibility
theres hope.
She is approximately a marvelous hero. Shes my hero in times of happiness
and despair, a hero who taught how to value life, a hero who has a big heart, a hero

who never fails to inspire me to keep going. She continued to encourage me as a

student and a responsible servant of God.
Once again, she gladly waves her hand and we made unforgettable memories
together.
