REFLECTION PAPER
The moment I entered the court I've seen criminals in the front
seat from me, At first I've sensed the heavy atmosphere in the
court. The attorneys are in the front questioning a woman that
said to be a doctor, Because the case is rape of an underage teen,
16 to be exact. The judge said that it is punishable by reclusion
perpetua. But what bothers me the most are the attorneys
laughing like they are just playing or maybe I just don't know. This
is my first time in court and I thought this might be interesting
and I've learned that hearings like this cost a lot because it
consumes so much time just to make a decision. But maybe it
won't be any more time consuming if you get a private attorney
though it cost a lot just by hiring one it seem to me that its
effective or maybe I'm just naive by thinking that only the rich
people has power to do things here. The Criminal case number is
DU-24957MV for Rape in relation to RA 9165. The judge's name is
Hon. Ferdinand Rafaran. The accused is Kenny Barazan Peas and
the victim was Melcris Rosatase Rosos. It was held at RTC BR55
court room. The hearing was almost 2 hours it was pretty, maybe
that's why there so many inmates outside waiting probably
because they have hearings too and it was delayed. The doctor
explained that the girl was touched by examining her private
parts and I was shocked because the attorneys are just laughing.
After that they ended it and will come back at May 2017.
