    Drugs are substances that change a person's physical or mental state. The vast
    majority of drugs are used to treat medical conditions, both physical and mental.

    What is the difference between antibiotics


    and medicine?
    Medicine is a substance or preparation (other than food) used for treatment and
    prevention of disease.
    Antibiotics also known as Antibacterial is a Medicine just like other medicines.
    It is used to treat infection caused by Bacteria. It has no action on Fungal or Viral
    infection.
    Two types of Antibiotics are
    1 .Bacteriostatic - that inhibits bacterial growth (E.g. Septran,Tetracycline)
    2. Bactericidal - that kills bacteria. (E.g. Penicillin,Amoxycillin)
    Beta blocker
    Beta blockers are a class of drugs that are particularly used to manage cardiac
    arrhythmias, and to protect the heart from a second heart attack (myocardial
    infarction) after a first heart attack (secondary prevention). [1] They are also widely
    used to treat hypertension,
