Corruption has plagued this country since the time of Spanish colonization, making peoples

demand for financial transparency evident in every part of our society. Many government officials,
national and local have been imprisoned for stealing public funds. One of the most popular cases were the
late chief justice Renato Corona being impeached due to loss of public trust and the imprisonment of the
former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The people have lost their trust on authorities and started to
become ignorant of the happenings in the government. But promise of change in the present
administration seemed convincing in the eyes of the public, with the implementation of Full Disclosure
Policy and the recent passing of Freedom of Information Bill, people are now more participative and
aware of the public officials governmental whereabouts. This same reason is the goal of the Far Eastern
Universitys ____________ in implementing Full Disclosure Policy in organizations.
Student organizations implementation of Full Disclosure policy aims to strengthen leadership
integrity through transparency regarding financial expenditures among organizations. However, FDP
having both the positive and negative impact has raised several issues particularly the possible effects on
students participation and confidentiality.
