If I were I from the story Twelve and Not Stupid, I would be very

suspicious of the relationship between Papa and Auntie May. That being
said, I cant say Id be surprised. Knowing Papa to be very social and quite
good looking, its no shock that hed have beautiful female friends or to be
having some secret relationship with somebody pretty.

In the particular relationship between Papa and Auntie May, I wont be

putting too much thought about it. I had only seen Auntie May once and it
would be too early to say anything about their relationship and its not
good to be jumping too conclusion. But I would be quite skeptic because
Papa told me to lie to Mama. There must be something going on since
Papa wants it to be hidden from Mama, but then again Papa is a very
private man, maybe he just want to avoid unnecessary conversation with
Mama.

It is also rather strange that Auntie May knew my name, its almost
seems like she knew Papa well for Papa to share things about his family to
her. However, it is common for friends to share information about family, it
does not mean they in some sort of secret relationship hidden from Mama
and me. It is also quite odd for Papa to know where Auntie May lives, but
this also proves nothing serious.

My overall thought is the relationship between Papa and Auntie May is

nothing to be worried about. Papa has a quite good relationship with Mama
and me and there is no crisis in the family for him to be looking for another
life partner. Plus I only had seen Auntie May one time and besides, if Papa
was really planning to cheat on Mama, he would have kept it secret from
me also. It would be foolish of him to reveal it to me and expects me keep
it as a secret, too risky on his part.

relationship Papa ad Auntie May has.
