Converting Percentages to Decimals:


In order to change a percent to a decimal, drop the % sign and move the decimal point two places to the
left.
Ex: Change each percent to a decimal.

(c) 47.5%

Converting a Decimal to a Percent:


To change a decimal to a percent, move the decimal point two places to the right and add a percent sign.
Ex: Change each decimal to a percent.

To change a fraction to a percent, first change the fraction to a decimal, and then change the decimal to a
