3rd Joint International Conference on Environmental Science and Climate Change

Introduction and Background

Environmental science furnishes an understanding of our environment and provides
qualified and virtuous solutions to environmental problems. Climate change cites to
recasting of the weather pattern for a longer period of time, which is primarily due
to the anthropogenic factors. Even though the developed countries are liable for
majority of GHG emissions, there has also been a significant contribution from
under developed countries as well. The emissions are particularly due to
overexploitation of fossil fuels.
Amidst many endeavours made by the scientific populace to bring steadiness in
climate changes of the planet many are still in their dawning stage. The notion
behind hosting this international conference is to provide a forum to render scientific
solutions with the help of eminent scientists and academicians to address the issues
of Environmental science and climate change that could probably bring stability in
the Earths temperature.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) elucidated climate change
as a Change in the state of the climate that can be identified (e.g. using statistical
tests) by changes in the mean and/or the variability of its properties, that persists for
an extended period of time, typically decades or longer.
Objectives
The leitmotif of this conference is to quantify and discuss on new technology to
mitigate climate change for an imperishable future of the environment. The main
objective of the conference is to draw together headmost scientists, researchers and
academicians from the discipline of Environmental Sciences, Remote Sensing,
Meteorology, Volcanology, Atmospheric Science, Global Warming, and Climate
change to hold forth the advancements in limiting the anthropogenic rise of
temperature.

3rd Joint International Conference on Environmental Science and Climate Change

The conference will serve as a platform for professionals and researchers as:
1. As a mode for dissemination and utilization of high impact ecological
researches.
2. To fraternize scientific populace in the promotion of climatic amendments of
the environment.
3. To share the finest practices in managing climate change and to determine its
effectiveness and impact.

The pre-eminent research outcomes will be submitted to Procedia of Elsevier for

possible indexing. Other accepted research works will be published in peer reviewed
journals.
Participants Profile
The International Conference will be on multi, inter-disciplinary aspects and is
expected to focus on issues in the field of environmental sciences, climate change,
ecosystem, biodiversity conservation, ecological assessment, water resources, and
disaster management. This will draw about 350 key participants from India and
abroad involved in the field of environmental science and climate change.

Instituto Politcnico Nacional (IPN)
Founded in 1936, the Instituto Politcnico Nacional (National Polytechnic Institute,
IPN) is the most important public technological higher education center in Mexico.
Academic quality is one of our main distinctions: more than 95% of our students are
trained in an educational program at a quality level recognized by accrediting
agencies. The Institute was founded on the premise of supporting the countrys
industrialization and national development process, as well as to offer education
opportunities to various social sectors, especially the less favoured. In 2004, the IPN
undertook a process of institutional transformation to renew its mission.
The essence of our institutional mission is to foster institutional education and
knowledge creation capacities in order to contribute to the construction of improved
development conditions. This has motivated the design of a new strategy: the Social
Integration Model with a two-way interaction between the Institute and society, as
well as an improvement of our main functions and the social recognition of our
effort. Within the framework of this model, a number of networking actions, national
and international cooperation, community service, relationship with alumni, among
others, take place and not withstanding their diversity, preserve the guidelines set
by the model. The presence of the Institute around the country comes to reality
through the daily work of its alumni, both individually and in the organizations they
belong to, which currently adds up to 115 Alumni Associations.
Among the academic institutions IPN has centers focused to Marine Sciences,

General Climatic Condition of Coimbatore during December 2016

Coimbatore has a pleasant, salubrious climate due to its proximity to thickly forested
mountain ranges and the cool breeze blowing through the Palghat gap which makes the
consistently hot temperatures pleasant. The mean maximum and minimum temperature varies
between 35 C (95 F) and 18 C (64 F). The highest temperature ever recorded is 40.3 C
(105 F) while the lowest is 11.7 C (53 F). This is due to the presence of the mountain pass,
