HOW TO EXTRACT ELEVATION/HEIGHT DATA FROM GOOGLE EARTH

(after a tedious effort googling. I found this. Alahamdulillah)

1. Go to : http://www.zonums.com/gmaps/terrain.php?action=sample
Dont worry, its FREE.
a. Terrain: - you can choose desired points in your selected area either
RANDOMLY or using UNIFORM GRID. The maximum points for both
methods are 5000 points = 5000 elevation data!! Cool ha...
So, if you want detail elevation data, choose smaller area then select
bigger sampling points.

b. Extent: Insert the maximum and minimum latitude and longitude your
area. To inform, the coordinate system for this tool is WGS 84. Hence
you can easily find the coordinates from google earth.

2. Click GET ELEVATION and wait until the tools finish plotting the elevation
long
points.

3. After the plotting process completed, you will be able to view a window
containing X,Y and Z value. Copy and paste these in Notepad and you can
import to ArcGIS .

Good luck!! . Im so damn happy!! Haha...
