Mission 1: Part2 Snakes in The Grass: Scene1
Scene1
Your next target went down about half a day from here and its nearly nightfall again. There are 3 other
presumed Jap observation points along the mountain range and you should pass one every few hours.
Several hours pass before you have to make camp. Jimmy Bakerfeild chats about the job at hand and tells you
how greatfull he is. You hear planes and look up to see A Brittish bomber squad moving overhead for a night
raid. Suddenly you hear loud gun fire from several Kilometers North. 2 Jap AA guns have opened up on the poor
bomber chaps. You can interveen but theres a lot of Jap ground crew rushing round in the clearing under a
cannopy of mesh netting. There is an access point to the rear of their camp close to the ammo tents. Japs have
same soldiers as in mission 1-1. If you blow the ammo it takes out half the camp and sends men running
everywere.
Scene2
Traveling along the mountains the following day Jimmy Bakerfeild suddenly screams and slips into a dense
patch of leaves and vines dissapearing out of sight. Pit contains 20 snakes+1 large snake.
You can attempt to collect snake venum as a DC15 survival check (a natural 1
inflicts 1d6/1d6 wounds with no DR, Fort save DC15 to negate, secondary
damage is 1 minute later ). When applied to a bladed weapon it counts as
poisoned and reduces the cost of the next crit by 1 dice
Scene3
Traveling on you come across a clearing with a dirt road running threw it at or near the base of the next
mountain.
Spot DC15 some way up the mountain you see the next observation unit, they seem to have given away there
position with a smoke flare.
Listen DC15 As you move up the mountain you hear a truck (there is also a 4WD car) winding down parralel to
your position, if you hurry back to the clearing you could ambush if? (second pilet is in the truck).

Scene6
As you find the river it begins to rain. Then it begins to poor down. Visability
decrases to a couple 100 feet as you look for a way across the river. Theres the
roar of an engin as a IJA truck hurtles toward you. It contains a small mission
budget worth of supplies and a chinese prisoner called Cheung who tells you he
is a scientist and has been tortured for weeks. HINT: buy an inflatable to cross
the river or you will drown/get eaten. Cheung asks to come with you.
