COMMENTS ON EOT CRANES IN MSDS (PACKAGE -087)

(Make Century cranes)
Rail, wheel & Hook profile shall be incorporated in the GA
drawing. Minimum diameter of LT wheel shall be 320mm as per
GTS.
Drawings for Hoist arrangement & LT assembly shall be
submitted.
Calculations for Main hoist, Long travel, brakes and motors
shall be submitted.
Drawing shall be made to scale & shall be submitted in A1 size.
DSL drawing shall be submitted.
Creep speed shall be 10% of the main speed.
End approach and side approach shall be marked in key plan of
GA. These shall be verified by technology section.
Fixed LT buffers location from respective column shall be
indicated in the key plan of GA.
Distance between Rail center line and column center line shall
be shown in GA.
Crane rail height shall be marked in the GA.
Side view of crane in GA shall be shown with dimensions.
Operating floor levels shall be indicated in the GA.

 Control panels shall be mounted on access/Maintenance

platform. GA & Terminal block details of Crane panel shall be
furnished.
Size of maintenance platform for the crane shall be marked in
GA.
Pendant movement shall be independent of the movement of
trolley.
Length of the pendant shall be such that it does not fall short
while operating from any point on the shop floor.
Safety guards and covers shall be provided for all coupling.
Makes of the components of the crane shall be as per
RSP/MECON preferred vendors list enclosed in GTS.
Design ambient temperature shall be considered as 50 0C.
Temperature rise shall be limited Class B.
Detail data sheet of Limit Switch shall be separately furnished.
Detail data sheet of Motor shall be separately furnished.
Voltage variation shall be considered as +10%,-15%.
