Quick start-up Guide


(for system integrators)

STEP 1 Device Configuration


Please ensure that all the required devices are available as per
Demo BOM.
Essential devices :

- Experion LS s/w
 Demo Machine with Windows Vista Business 32Bit sp2 loaded
 Experion LS s/w DVD

C200 Controller
 Base, Power module, CPU module, FTEB Module, I/O Module
 Network Switch (Honeywell recommended CISCO) + N/w Cables (2nos.)

2. Installation Method

STEP 1 Experion LS S/w Configuration


To install Experion LS software, Please follow the
procedure as per attached document (Experion LS Demo Kit.pdf)

Before Installing FTEB, Please set Rotary switch for FTE Node number (1 to
99), say 10.

STEP 2 C200 Hardware Installation


To determine the slot location of C200 related
hardware you must:
- Set Rotary Switch node address as shown in picture.
- Start counting at zero (do not count the power supply)
- Count from left to right
- Count both spaces if the module occupies two spaces
- The ethernet connection to the FTEB is 10Mbps

STEP 3 Controller Startup


Connect power cable to power supply module
Take care of grounding appropriately.
Supply the power to the system
Check the LED status at FTEB

- A & B: ON
 Red Steady no n/w cable connected
 Red Blinking n/w cable connected but Experion LS is not communicating
 Green Blinking In n/w with Experion LS is communicating after configuration.

- OK: ON, (Green Blinking)


- 4 Character LED show BP error & node number.
Check the LED status of Control Processor

- BAT: ON (Green Steady)


- OK: ON, (Green Blinking)
- 4 Character LED show ALIVE

Go to System Preferences:-

-Go to System Preferences
-Embedded FTE
-Check Edit Network Parameters.
-In Base IP Address: type your firs
t 2 number similar to your machine
ip address.
-In Subnet Mask: type your first 2
number similar to your machine ip
subnet mask.
-In Primary Server, type your mac
hine IP address.
-In Secondary Server, no entry.
-Click OK.

Create FTEB Module as follow:-

Configure FTEB Module as below:-

0 for Demo kit.


Must match the hardware

- Recycle power at C200 controller.
- C200 reboot and self test.
- Check status on 4 Character LED. It should show OK and node number as
configured.
- At windows, Go to Start  Run  Type ntools e u. Following window will
pop-up.
