CT STUDY OF HEAD
ARTIFACTS DUE TO HEAD MOVEMENTS ++
Infratentorial

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Hyperdense area of blood density is seen in right basal ganglionic

region with
Hypodense component .This area measures 40 x 20mm in size.. Tiny hypodensity is
seen in left basal ganglionic regioninfarct.

Basal cisterns are effaced.

Third and right lateral ventricles are compressed.

Minimal midline shift to left is seen.

OPINION:
RIGHT BASAL GANGLIONIC
SHIFT. .

BLEED WITH MASS EFFECT AND MIDLINE

Clinical correlation is necessary
